Head of Sales – UK Energy & Utilities | Professional Services London (with UK regional travel) Full-time | Permanent Professional Services / Consulting Sales E1 Partners are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology consultancy, seeking a highly driven and experienced Head of Sales to lead business development efforts within the UK Energy & Utilities sector. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, innovative business at a senior level, with autonomy to shape the sales function and help expand market presence. The Role This is a senior, strategic sales role focused on winning new high-value clients and developing long-term partnerships within the sector. You\’ll be responsible for leading sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and positioning tailored digital and technology-led consulting services to major energy and utilities clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the sales strategy for new business acquisition across the UK Energy & Utilities market Identify and close new, high-value client opportunities (new logos) Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving tailored digital/technology solutions Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to create compelling value propositions Manage and develop a sales pipeline through active networking and prospecting Support and monitor team performance to achieve personal and group targets Skills/Experience Required: Proven track record in direct B2B sales of consulting/professional services within the UK Energy & Utilities sector Experience leading complex solution sales cycles with strong bid and proposal development Strong commercial acumen with exceptional communication and negotiation skills Credibility and gravitas to operate at the senior stakeholder and C-suite level Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Sandler, Miller Heiman, SPIN, or Target Account Selling Positive, motivated, and action-oriented with a values-led approach Desirable Background Experience in selling digital/technology-driven services within a consultancy or professional services firm Demonstrable success in securing new clients and exceeding sales targets Knowledge of industry challenges and trends within the UK Energy & Utilities space
