E1 Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading energy client for their growing EV division. This is a high-impact, commercially driven role focused on winning new business and delivering technical EV infrastructure solutions across the UK.

The Role:

  • Drive new business sales across EV charging infrastructure, targeting ambitious growth targets.
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline using a proactive, “hunter” sales approach.
  • Lead the full sales process from prospecting through to contract award.
  • Develop customer relationships using a consultative, “land and expand” approach.
  • Identify new sectors and opportunities within the rapidly growing EV market.
  • Work closely with internal delivery, design, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution.

Technical Focus:

  • Engage customers on EV charging hub design and infrastructure solutions.
  • Support early-stage scoping, feasibility, and commercial discussions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of cable sizing and electrical design considerations, voltage drop and network capacity.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to help shape and refine technical solutions for clients.

About You:

  • Proven track record in EV infrastructure sales, with a strong new business focus.
  • Experience selling technical solutions (ideally EV charging, ICP, utilities, or electrical infrastructure).
  • Commercially driven, with a history of delivering against ambitious sales targets.
  • Confidently engaging senior stakeholders and leading complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of technical EV infrastructure concepts and project delivery.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment.
