Reporting to: Senior Bid Manager

Job Purpose: To deliver accurate, competitive, cost-effective, and margin-driven estimates and customer pricing for EV installation projects and through-life support services. The role supports the commercial success of the EV business by providing detailed costing analysis, ensuring financial scrutiny, and acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on pricing, profitability, and the cost base.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing options for high-profile EV installation projects and support services, managing a complex supply chain of hardware/software suppliers, energy connection providers, and electrical and civil subcontractors.
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce commercially tailored and competitive costings and pricing solutions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Commercial teams to source and manage supplier and subcontractor pricing.
  • Work closely with project and design teams to ensure cost feasibility, accuracy, and commercial alignment.
  • Contribute to value engineering initiatives and cost-saving strategies that support the commercial objectives of the business.
