E1 Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading energy client for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to support the growth of their direct B2B portfolio. This is a new business, hunter-style role, focused on winning and developing relationships with commercial energy customers across electricity and gas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive direct sales activity, targeting commercial customers (0.25 – 25 GWh)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Develop compelling value propositions and differentiate from TPIs
  • Lead and coordinate tenders, pricing, and deal structuring
  • Sell a range of products including fixed and flex energy solutions
  • Build long-term client relationships to support retention and growth

About You

  • Proven track record in B2B direct sales within the energy sector
  • Experience in energy supply or TPI/broker environment highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure and close deals
