Are you ready to take on a meaningful challenge? We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secure & Complex Services Advocate to join our vibrant team in Keighley. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact within our busy Advocacy department.

Responsibilities

  • Support vulnerable adults who have substantial life difficulties and health problems that impact their functioning, empowering them to express their views and wishes.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients, providing persuasive verbal and written representations to ensure their rights are upheld.
  • Collaborate in partnership with clients and professionals to represent individuals’ needs and preferences.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and work independently with strong time‑management skills.

Hours of Work: Part‑time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 5 pm.

Location: Office‑based Keighley (Applicants must live within the area, hold a full driver’s licence and have access to their own transport).

Salary: Starting salary of £9,696.96 (Full‑time salary equivalent £24,242.40 per year).

Contract type: Permanent.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults in health, social care, or voluntary settings.
  • Proven ability to provide persuasive verbal and written representations.
  • Strong time‑management and computer literacy skills.
  • Flexibility, a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holiday (rising to 30 days after 5 years of service) with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days, plus your birthday off as an additional holiday day after 1 year of service.
