Overview
Trading since 1989, e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK\’s number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. We complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors nationwide. We are part of the LSL Property Services Group PLC, working with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities, estate agents and private customers. The role sits within e.surv, and supports the delivery of client SLA’s and business strategy by collaborating with other teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and alignment with e.surv’s purpose, vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Complete the full suite of Real-Time Audit tasks within defined Service Levels (SLA’s) and to the agreed processes and quality standards, ensuring databases are maintained for accuracy.
- Communicate referred cases promptly with Surveyors, Area Operations Managers and escalate to senior members of the Surveying Quality Team as appropriate.
- Handle external requests, including queries, amended reports, results and month-end reconciliations.
- Compile SQP Phase 1 audits for field surveyors and collate results as directed.
- Fulfill general and lender-specific Report Audits and complete high-risk reporting (same day) where required.
- Submit daily reporting to keep the wider business informed on performance against SLA’s and KPI’s.

- Ability to work under own guidance and plan own time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to challenge processes where improvement has been identified.
- PC literate (including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook). Additional training can be provided.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of Lender Client Requirements (training will be provided).
- Basic knowledge of Surveyor Inspections and requirements (training will be provided).
- Basic understanding of mortgage valuation process (training will be provided).
Person specification
Positive, professional, resilient, with excellent communication skills; focused and target-driven. Flexibility in working hours may be required, sometimes on short notice, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays depending on business needs or shift patterns.
