We are bringing together finance activities from across the Group into a central Finance Hub in Newcastle, creating more consistent ways of working and strengthening our finance operations. As part of this centralisation, we have created an exciting new opportunity for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Central Finance team. We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts payable or finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely and efficient financial processing. You'll play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices, expenses and payments are processed correctly, helping maintain strong financial controls and positive supplier relationships. Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, employee expenses and company credit card transactions accurately and on time. Managing supplier accounts, reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries professionally and promptly. Assisting with month-end, year-end and audit activities. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant or similar finance administration role. Experience processing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries. Good understanding of financial controls and the importance of accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems. Knowledge of month-end procedures and audit support activities. Experience using Sun Finance and/or Proactis systems. Studying towards, or willing to study towards, an AAT qualification. Opportunity to develop your finance skills and career.
