To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Northern Ireland. Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and helping organisations successfully adopt new ways of working? We’re looking for an experienced Business Change Manager to lead the planning, development, and delivery of business change activity across a large-scale transformational programme. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between programme delivery and operational teams, ensuring the organisation is fully prepared for change, transitions run smoothly, and the programme’s intended benefits are realised.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying, assessing, and documenting change impacts across processes, people and systems
- Designing and delivering a comprehensive change management strategy and roadmap
- Leading stakeholder analysis and driving engagement, communication, and sponsorship activity
- Conducting business readiness assessments and creating transition plans for new ways of working
- Coordinating training needs analysis, learning materials, and knowledge transfer plans
- Monitoring adoption, feedback, and readiness metrics, adjusting support where needed
- Working closely with programme managers, analysts, operational leaders, and HR/L&D teams
- Identifying and managing change-related risks, issues, and resistance
- Producing clear change documentation, dashboards, and reports for governance groups
- Ensuring alignment with organisational standards including data confidentiality and quality
- Promoting a safe working environment in line with legal and policy requirements
- Strong understanding of structured change management methodologies (ADKAR, PROSCI, Kotter)
- Experience conducting impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and readiness planning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft targeted change messaging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting behavioural and cultural change in multidisciplinary environments
- Proven experience delivering change or transformation programmes
- Ability to coach, influence, and build strong relationships at all levels
- Comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple business areas
