The Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst will be responsible for ongoing analysis, support and management of our Guidewire ClaimCenter global implementation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to ingest full knowledge transfer of existing applications and thoroughly document.
- Work with business to understand business requirements. Create functional specifications as needed for new functionality.
- Design solutions that maximize the out of the box features of the product and minimize customizations.
- Completely document and provide end to end data flows for the GWCC and multiple integrations per the specifications.
- Develop detailed requirements specification for GWCC.
- Test configuration changes and assist QA team in test planning and troubleshooting.
- Estimate the level of effort/cost of new application functionality.
- Provide analysis, troubleshooting and resolution on production issues related to applications and its integration points.
- Coordinate support activities with business stakeholders and IT resources.
- Enforce compliance with change control procedures for on-going production changes and projects.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years hands on experience with developing detailed business and technical requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter required.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter and related integrations.
- Data architecture experience a +.
- Master experience with Excel and managing data.
- Experience with SQL development preferred. Must be able to read and understand SQL code and develop complex queries.
- Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and the out of the box software functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience operating and interfacing with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately.
- Strong initiative; able to self-manage. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done.
- Experience using standard project and business tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Team player who works well with technical and business resources.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
