Our client is looking for a Release Manager to join them on a 3 month initial contract. This would be a hybrid role, 2 days per week in the office in London.
You will support the end-to-end management of both frontend and backend releases across our clients eCommerce sites. They operate across several brands, each with multiple markets.
Key responsibilities:- Own and maintain the release schedule, ensuring releases are on track, stakeholders informed and development teams aligned.
- Monitor release progress and ensure that any blockers, risks or deviations are flagged.
- Coordinate with the development teams and produce clear release and post release reports.
- Experience with software development release management - ideally having worked in eCommerce.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile/scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with release tooling such as Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with 'On demand' releases would be highly beneficial.
