We are currently looking for a Senior or Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team for an established Building Services Consultancy in London. As a Senior / Associate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and sustainable mechanical building services designs across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities of the Senior/Associate Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Lead the mechanical design of building services projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Design HVAC systems including heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
- Produce designs for heating, chilled water, domestic water services and public health systems.
- Design ductwork and pipework systems in accordance with current British Standards and CIBSE guidance.
Experience required:
- Experience working within a Building Services Consultancy on residential, mixed-use and commercial developments.
- Strong experience designing HVAC and mechanical building services systems.
- Extensive knowledge of heating systems, ventilation, pipework design, ductwork design, domestic water services, air conditioning etc.
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevacomp, Cymap.
