The Role
Are you a skilled welder with a passion for craftsmanship? At E-ppl we are looking for Welders to support our customer. We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our fabrication team in Malvern. You will be responsible for the high-quality welding of chassis components and bespoke parts for their vehicles. Because the customers production lines are focused on hand-built quality rather than mass-automation, your individual skill and attention to detail will be visible in every vehicle that leaves the factory.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Precision Welding: Perform high-standard TIG welding, primarily aluminium and mild steel.
- Fabrication: Read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate components from scratch or using jigs.
- Quality Control: Ensure all welds meet structural integrity standards and the aesthetic requirements of a luxury motor vehicle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider production and engineering teams to ensure seamless assembly.
- Maintenance: Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean working environment in line with health and safety protocols.
- Proven Experience: Significant experience in both TIG welding (automotive or aerospace background is a plus).
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings.
- Fine Motor Skills: A "steady hand" and an eye for the aesthetic finish of a weld.
- Material Knowledge: Experience working with thin-gauge materials and aluminium.
- Team Spirit: A positive attitude and a pride in your craft that matches the Morgan ethos.
