Here at E-ppl we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry, working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Authorised Personnel (SAP) Electricians with specific experience in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) for a long-term contracting position. This role requires advanced diagnostic capabilities, including fault identification down to level zero.

Requirements
  • Certifications: IMI EV Level 3 / Level 4 with proven site experience.
  • Fault Diagnosis: You must be able to confidently identify faults down to level zero.
  • Vehicle Focus: Specific, hands-on experience on BEV vehicles (not just batteries).
  • Upskilling Pathway: We will assess and provide transitional training to full BEV standards for Major Rec Electricians (£20/hr) who currently hold standard EV certifications but lack full BEV experience.
Shift Pattern & Requirements
  • Hours: 12-hour shifts.
  • Rotation: Minimum of 6 days on a rotation.
  • Shift Type: Day shifts and rotating schedules only (NO NIGHTS-ONLY contracts).
  • Commitment: Full-time hours only. Part-time contractors will not be considered.
Benefits
  • IR35 Status: Strictly Outside IR35 (highly lucrative for limited company contractors).
  • Contract Length: Long-term contract providing excellent stability.
  • Hours Advantage: High weekly earning potential due to the extensive hours available.
  • Pay Rates:
    • Experienced BEV/SAP Electricians: £23.00 per hour
    • Major Rec Electricians (with EV certs): £20.00 per hour
    • Newly Qualified Electricians: £18.00 per hour
  • Possible weekend overtime with premium rate.
