Mandatory Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following: * Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. * Driving Licence: Full Category B UK Driving Licence (essential). * Tools: Must have your own range of mechanical hand tools. * Experience: Proven hands-on experience working on modern light motor vehicles within an automotive environment. Key Responsibilities: * Vehicle Re-works & Mechanical Assembly: Fit and strip mechanical and body parts, including interior trim, exterior panels, gearboxes, engines, and suspensions. * Component Replacement: Diagnose, access, and replace damaged or defective components efficiently. * Modifications & Servicing: Complete light mechanical work, adjustments, and modifications to original vehicle builds. * Data & Time Tracking: Accurately log all completed repairs manually or on digital data systems, recording attendance and work times to manufacturer standards.
