About the Role
E-ppl Ltd is seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join our dedicated team on-site at Leconfield.
This is a mission-critical role supporting the refurbishment, maintenance, and operational readiness of a specialist fleet.
Stepping away from basic vehicle maintenance, you will work alongside a high-performing engineering team to maintain, repair, and overhaul complex heavy vehicles and high-value technical equipment for a global technology firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Overhaul: Conduct routine servicing, diagnostic fault finding, and complete mechanical/electrical overhauls on a unique fleet of military assets.
- Maintain Readiness: Perform critical safety inspections, defect rectifications, and equipment examinations to strict production standards.
- Collaborate: Work alongside skilled engineering teams to optimise vehicle availability for live training exercises.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Execute all repair tasks in strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies and quality standards.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible and capable of obtaining a BPSS
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Service & Repair (or equivalent Light/Heavy vehicle mechanical qualification).
- Experience: Proven mechanical background in busy HGV workshops, commercial fleet garages, plant machinery, or military vehicle environments.
- Skills: Strong fault-diagnosis capabilities across mechanical and electrical systems, a collaborative team-player mentality, and an adaptable approach to complex machinery.
