We are looking for an experienced, qualified level 3 Mechanic to join our team at E-ppl, leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. The mechanic will support our customer based in the Midlands. A certification in IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential.
The Mechanic will have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge and experience with complex mechanical or electronic systems is also expected.
Auto Mechanic duties and responsibilities:
- Battery Removal
- Engine Removal & Installation
- Inspect vehicle engine
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components
- Pre- and Post-overhaul
- Diagnose issues timely and accurately
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems
- Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Requirements:
- IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential
- 3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Benefits:
- Hours of work are Monday β Friday β 12-hour day shifts and Monday to Thursday 12 hour night shifts
- Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
- Β£20.00 per hour, possible weekend overtime with premium rate
- Onsite parking
