About the Role

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Servicing: Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
  • Rectification & Prep: Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
  • Fleet Upgrades: Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
  • Safety First: Always maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable).
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
  • Personal PPE/Equipment: Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.
