The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Construction Storeperson / Materials Controller to join a busy team at HMP Highpoint. This is a long-term role offering stable Monday to Friday hours and the opportunity to play a key role in supporting site operations.
Working within a busy construction environment, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, tracking distribution of materials, plant and equipment across site, ensuring subcontractors receive the correct materials when required.
What you will be doing:
- Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
- Managing the storage and distribution of materials and equipment across site.
- Booking deliveries onto site systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Issuing materials and equipment to subcontractors as required.
- Working closely with site teams and forklift operators to ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
- Keeping the stores area clean, organised and safe at all times.
- Uploading delivery paperwork and maintaining basic site records.
