Opportunity based at HMP Highpoint (Suffolk) on a major £300m prison expansion scheme, working within a Tier 1 environment on a significant MEP package.

Key details:

  • Location: HMP Highpoint, Suffolk
  • Duration: Approx. 13 months
  • Rate: £450–£500 per day (PAYE)
  • Benefits: Subject to holiday pay and pension in addition to the hourly day rate
  • Start: ASAP / short notice preferred

Overview:

  • Managing electrical packages within a large-scale custodial project
  • Overseeing delivery from installation through to commissioning
  • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme and quality targets are met
  • Working closely with site, commercial and client teams

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electrical building services / M&E
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience working on Tier 1 or major schemes
  • Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and site delivery
  • Previous experience on secure, MOD, healthcare or similar environments would be beneficial
