We are working with an international bank based in the City of London who are looking to hire a Treasury Settlement Analyst to join their Treasury Operations team. This role sits within the middle/back office function and is responsible for the daily processing and settlement of treasury transactions, including Money Market and FX trades. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely settlement, investigating discrepancies, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily processing and settlement of Money Market and FX trades
- Investigating and resolving settlement discrepancies
- Reconciling cash breaks and monitoring outstanding items
- Ensuring payment instructions are accurate and complete
- Liaising with front office, middle office and clients
- Monitoring and resolving system or settlement breaks
- Responding to internal and external queries
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within settlement operations
- Experience handling FX and/or Money Market products
- Previous banking or financial institution experience preferred
- Strong reconciliation and investigation skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
