We are recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a specialist property team carrying out asbestos management surveys across a diverse residential and commercial property portfolio.

The Role
You will undertake asbestos management surveys in accordance with HSG264 and current legislation, accurately identifying and recording asbestos-containing materials to ensure compliance and support effective asset management.
Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out asbestos management surveys across domestic and commercial properties.
- Undertaking refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection surveys where required.
- Producing accurate survey reports and maintaining high-quality records.
- Managing your own diary to meet operational targets.
- Providing technical advice relating to asbestos surveys and findings.
- Building positive relationships with customers, colleagues and contractors.
- Maintaining accurate digital records using Microsoft Office and asset management systems.
- Supporting the wider surveying team to ensure consistently high-quality data.
About You
To be successful, you will have
- P402 qualification (or equivalent recognised asbestos surveying qualification).
- Proven experience carrying out asbestos surveys within occupied domestic properties.
- Excellent knowledge of HSG264 and asbestos surveying best practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to use asset management systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to organise your own workload and work independently.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
Experience within the housing association or social housing sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
Travel
This is a field-based position covering Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
Extensive travel is required.
Wherever possible, work will be allocated close to your home location, although flexibility to travel across the region is essential due to the nature of the team.
