IT Asset & Procurement Administrator

Leatherhead, Surrey

£160–£180 per day PAYE + Holiday Pay

Long-Term Contract (Initially until December with a strong likelihood of extension)

37 Hours per Week | Office Based | Monday to Friday

Working hours are on a shift rota between 8:00am and 5:30pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Are you highly organised, enjoy working with data and take pride in producing accurate work? We are recruiting for an IT Asset & Procurement Administrator to join the Group IT team of a prestigious blue-chip organisation based in Leatherhead. Working within a friendly team of four, you will support the day-to-day administration of IT procurement and asset management, ensuring equipment, records and systems are maintained accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise purchase orders for IT hardware, software and consumables.
  • Order equipment from approved suppliers.
  • Process invoices and support the recharge process.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records.
  • Update ServiceNow and other internal systems.
  • Carry out high-volume data entry and record management.
  • Produce reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Arrange deliveries, courier collections and equipment storage.
  • Receive and distribute IT equipment across the office.
  • Take outgoing post to reception.
  • Support continuous improvements to administrative processes.
  • Work accurately to agreed service levels.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous administration, data entry or data processing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience working with high volumes of data.
  • Ability to work accurately in a repetitive, process-driven role.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.

Previous procurement, purchasing or IT administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Environment

This is a fully office-based role, working 37 hours per week on a rota between 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves collecting deliveries from reception and distributing IT equipment around the office. You should therefore be comfortable lifting and carrying items weighing up to approximately 5kg. Lifts and trolleys are available where required.
