We are working with a large, well-established corporate organisation based in Leatherhead who are looking to recruit a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy and friendly team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, dealing with people and being at the centre of day-to-day operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating engineers to attend site for both planned maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring everything runs efficiently and on schedule. Alongside this, you will support the wider office with administrative duties and provide front-of-house cover when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising engineers to attend site for maintenance works and emergency repairs
- Planning and managing daily workloads, ensuring efficient allocation of jobs
- Acting as a first point of contact for customers and contractors
- Providing reception cover when required, meeting and greeting visitors
- Handling incoming calls with a professional and friendly telephone manner
- Managing diaries and coordinating appointments
- Uploading and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- General administration including emails, filing and issuing documentation
About You
- Previous experience in a coordination, facilities or similar role
- Excellent telephone manner and confident dealing with people face-to-face
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Positive, team-focused attitude with a proactive approach
- IT literate and comfortable using internal systems
- Educated to GCSE level (C or above)
- Ideally based locally to Leatherhead
