What you will be doing
Are you someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced work environment and is eager to delve into the intricacies of wholesale energy markets?
Join E.ON's team and be a vital part of our interface between the I&C supply business and Energy Markets trading function.
You will get the opportunity to develop an understanding of how to quote prices to customers and gain in depth understanding of the wholesale energy markets.
In this team we provide an essential interface between the I&C supply business and the Energy Markets trading function. We interact with our valuable Flex portfolio throughout the day, allowing customers to fix their contract energy requirement based on the live wholesale market.
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead on incoming customer calls, interacting with Forwards traders to provide and transact live market prices with Flex customers.
- Provide a market leading level of customer service to our portfolio, offering insight during incoming and scheduled calls with customers.
- Develop effective relationships with our Flex customers, helping to ensure high retention and renewal rates by offering industry leading levels of service and knowledge.
- Management and ownership of flex related customer queries.
- Managing the contents and access to the Risk Navigator platform.
- Processing fixed volume 'lockins' from the I&C business.
- Partner with the Forwards Position Management team to ensure our volume positions are always understood and communicated accurately.
- Adhere at all times to agreed governance and procedures to ensure compliance of the desk with key internal and external controls and compliance with regulation.
What we need from you
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
- Experience dealing with external stakeholders and customer focussed.
- Experience working in fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
It would be great if you have
- Experience of I&C/Flex supply contracts.
- Knowledge of wholesale energy markets.
- Experience of project work.
- Coding ability.
