Job Description

We are looking for a Regulatory and Policy Strategy Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role based out of Trinity House in Nottingham or Citigen in London. As the Regulatory and Policy Strategy Manager at E.ON, you will play a key role in developing and implementing E.ON's regulatory and policy strategy. Your responsibilities will include shaping regulations and policies to align with E.ON's future strategy and ensuring that E.ON adapts to changes in the regulatory environment. You will represent E.ON in high-level engagements with regulators, policy makers, and other external parties, fostering relationships with key stakeholders such as DESNZ and Ofgem.

Regulatory and Policy Strategy Manager

Here's what you'll be doing

  • Cultivate relationships with senior officials at Ofgem, Government, and other stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and manage risks for E.ON.
  • Lead the formulation of regulatory positions, identifying opportunities to shape future regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of policy and regulatory changes and take necessary actions.
  • Manage responses to consultations and strategic interactions with regulators, policy makers, and consumer bodies.
  • Coordinate and oversee any interactions with regulatory bodies, including investigations and compliance cases.
  • Stay informed about regulatory and policy developments, providing insightful analysis and support to E.ON's business.
  • Oversee the line management of colleagues, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
