Here's what you'll be doing:
Fixed term - 12 months
Salary - £31,422 - £43,455 plus excellent employee benefits and career progression
Location - Nottingham (Hybrid working - 2 days a week onsite)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Executive or a confident and experienced paralegal to join the LCDP Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you will report into Senior Legal Counsel and primarily support the E.ON Next business with legal matters including basic contract reviews and drafting, compliance advice, and regulatory issues. With supervision, you will be required to provide advice on all aspects of new and existing energy solutions and commodity contracts concerning residential clients as well as marketing and advertising promotions.
What we need from you:
- You are a Chartered Legal Executive or confident and experienced paralegal, with 1-3 years' experience in a commercial role.
- You have a hardworking approach with a proven ability to work to tight timescales in a fast-paced environment.
- You have business acumen with a practical, commercial approach to problem solving.
- You are enthusiastic, positive and a great team player.
- You have great interpersonal skills with the ability to deal confidently and build strong and trusting relationships with business colleagues.
- You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience of consumer or retail related work, particularly within a regulated business.
- Experience of working in-house.
- Ability to work in a quick paced business facing role and be hands on, resilient, adaptable and organised.
- Proven ability to manage own workload.
