What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineering teams to optimize the development and deployment of digital products, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and promote best practices in engineering and DevOps, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Define and implement the engineering strategy that aligns with E.ON's overall business objectives and digital transformation goals.
• Oversee the integration of various engineering disciplines, ensuring collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering teams, providing guidance and support to enhance their capabilities.
• Advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies that can enhance product development and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product management to ensure that engineering efforts align with user needs and market demands.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in engineering or technology leadership roles, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
• Proven ability to manage and lead engineering teams across various disciplines, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud Platforms, Frontend Engineering, SaaS Platforms, and Backend Engineering & Architecture, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
• Experience working in a product-driven environment, particularly with agile methodologies, to ensure rapid and effective product development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
