Here's what you'll be doing
As the Head of EIS Technology, you'll play a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the UK CIO and operationally aligned to the COO of EIS. Key Responsibilities

- Drive innovation - Identify market opportunities, shape the product roadmap, and explore emerging technologies to keep EIS ahead of the curve.
- Lead delivery - Oversee the full product lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
- Champion the customer - Use data and continuous feedback to ensure technology choices enhance customer experience and business outcomes.
- Ensure operational excellence - Manage all digital technology services for EIS, maintaining alignment with strategy, performance targets, and security standards.
- Collaborate at the highest level - Partner with senior leaders across E.ON UK and Group to ensure smooth operations and clear communication.
- Deliver sustainable value - Manage IT costs effectively, contributing to strategic and financial planning for long-term success.
What we need from you
- Proven senior leadership in digital technology, ideally across multiple sectors (energy experience would be an advantage).
- Deep understanding of both current and emerging technologies, and how to apply them to deliver growth and transformation.
- A track record in agile delivery, leading major transformation programmes or day-to-day operations in a Product and Bus/Dev/Ops model.
- Strategic influence at board level, shaping secure, compliant technology strategies and making the right technology choices.
- Collaboration in complex environments, working effectively in Group/Region matrix structures and with multi-sourced vendor ecosystems.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing IT budgets, service models, and supplier performance.
- Exceptional leadership skills - inspiring teams, coaching and mentoring, and guiding people through change.
- Advanced communication and negotiation ability, able to engage and influence at executive level and beyond.
- High integrity and resilience, willing to challenge the status quo to achieve better outcomes.
