We are looking for an Employee Relations Consultant to join our Safe & Well team on a permanent basis.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate on Employee Relations, Occupational Health, and Policy strategy across departments.
- Provide specialist advice on people change projects and policy benchmarking.
- Local implementation support - Supporting operational management to implement HR policy and procedures consistently at a local level.
- Building and maintaining external network and understanding commercial challenges.
- Analyse ER data to inform business decisions and performance.
- Build strong relationships with trade unions and stakeholders, supporting negotiation and tribunal management.
- Ensuring reputational risks are clearly considered and recorded.
- Lead settlement and COT3 agreement processes.
- Coach managers on ER processes including attendance, capability, disciplinary, grievance, and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through digitisation and automation of ER tools and processes.
- Design and deliver ER learning interventions for people managers.
What we need from you:
- CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law, including TUPE, tribunals, and settlement agreements.
- Proven experience managing complex ER cases in diverse environments.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills across all levels.
- Proficient on various HR systems & Digital tools.
- Commercial mindset with balanced judgment and risk awareness.
- Effective multi-tasker with strong written communication skills.
