Reward & Benefits Specialist
At E.ON UK, we're helping to shape the energy transition and making new energy work – affordable, sustainable, for everyone. As our business evolves, so does the way we reward, recognise and support our people. We're looking for an experienced Reward & Benefits Specialist to join our small, high‑performing Reward team. This is an exciting opportunity for a tenacious individual with an eye for detail, who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact.
Reporting to the Reward & Performance Lead Consultant and working closely with the Colleague Services team, you will take ownership of E.ON UK's benefits offering, leading the ongoing management, enhancement and delivery of our employee benefits portfolio. You will ensure our benefits proposition supports our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), helps attract and retain talent, and delivers an engaging colleague experience, while also contributing to the wider reward agenda.
Responsibilities
- Act as a benefits subject‑matter expert, using your knowledge of benefits and reward processes, governance, legislation and market practice to identify opportunities and bring innovative ideas that enhance E.ON’s reward offering and Employee Value Proposition.
- Own the delivery of E.ON UK's employee benefits portfolio, managing supplier relationships, contracts and performance, while partnering with Payroll, Internal Communications, Pensions, Procurement, People Partners and suppliers to deliver an excellent colleague experience.
- Act as an escalation point for complex queries, working with stakeholders and providers to ensure our benefits remain competitive, cost‑effective, compliant and aligned with colleague needs and business priorities.
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the annual benefits enrolment cycle, including supplier negotiations, contract renewals, system readiness, communications and stakeholder coordination, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for colleagues.
- Drive year‑round benefits engagement through creative, inclusive communications and campaigns that enhance our Employee Value Proposition. Use colleague insight and feedback to continually improve the reward experience, delivering impactful content and events across a range of channels to increase awareness, understanding and participation.
- Identify opportunities to digitalise and simplify processes, improve ways of working and enhance the colleague reward experience.
- Manage the complexity of delivering reward and benefits across a diverse colleague population, including field‑based, contact‑centre and office teams. Use a range of HR systems, digital platforms and communication channels to ensure reward information is accessible, engaging and relevant for all colleagues.
- Ensure benefits governance, policies and processes remain robust, compliant and aligned with regulatory requirements and business risk appetite.
- Analyse and interpret benefits and reward data, generating actionable insights that inform recommendations, enhance colleague engagement and evolve our wider reward offering.
- Manage benefit budgets, monitoring monthly spend, forecasting costs and supporting effective financial control. Act as the escalation point for supplier invoicing queries.
- Contribute to the wider reward landscape, supporting activities such as reward MI and insight, benchmarking, job evaluation and annual reward activities, as req.
