We're looking for EON Utility Solutions Apprentices to join our Lighting & Grid team as part of our UK Energy Infrastructure Solutions business. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while earning qualifications over a four-year period.
Role: EON Utility Solutions Apprentice – Power Engineering Cable Jointing and Street Lighting Installation, Service and Maintenance. The role is hands-on, requiring work in site-based environments including public highway and construction sites.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science.
- A real interest in engineering shown by relevant work placements, studies, hobbies or projects.
- A passion for safety and PPE requirements.
- Team-oriented with the confidence to work independently when required.
- Applicants must have completed the minimum school-leaving requirements and be 18 or older.
Formal Training & Qualifications:
- Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering – Distribution & Transmission.
- Level 3 Power Distribution Engineering Cable Jointing.
- Level 2 Technical Training and NVQ Highways Maintenance Operative.
- Level 3 Technical Training & NVQ Highways Electrician.
