I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving around 30,000 customers and approximately 250,000 meter points, with the ambition to become the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK. As a Scrum Master, your responsibilities will fall into three focus areas: supporting the team, supporting the Product Owner, and supporting the organisation.
- Supporting the team: You will act as a servant leader, ensuring the team follows Agile principles and Scrum practices effectively. You will support the change in mindset required in going from project and siloed ways of working to a product and collaborative way of working.
- Supporting the Product Owner: You will work closely with business managers to support them in defining their product vision, helping the business product owner in building out their backlog of customer-focused outcomes, and prioritisation of their delivery. You will help ensure these visions and requirements are clear and understood by the team.
- Supporting the organisation: This dynamic role will offer exposure to strategic initiatives and supporting the product teams to align to these. It is also an opportunity to support the conception and creation of a unique scaled agile approach, as the full product landscape is built out. Ultimately, we aim to form a high-performing, collaborative environment, where everyone can thrive, and your role will be intrinsic in this.

- Facilitation Skills - Running daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Communication & Collaboration - Acting as a bridge between Product Owner, Developers, and stakeholders
- Coaching & Mentoring - Helping the team understand and adopt Agile principles, guiding the Product Owner on backlog practices, coaching individuals toward continuous improvement
- Conflict Resolution - Encouraging problem-solving rather than blame

- Coaching in Continuous Improvement - Running effective retrospectives; helping the team measure and improve velocity, quality, and delivery practices
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD approach
- Familiarity with Kanban, Scaled Agile, Jira, Confluence, Miro
