As the Head of Digital Technology Security & Operations, you will lead the delivery of cyber security, service management, and colleague experience technology services across E.
ON UK.
Reporting to the Director of Common Digital Services, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving service performance, and delivering technology services that support the UK business strategy while aligning with UK and Group Digital Technology objectives.
Working across a complex, multi-sourced environment, you will build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and customer-focused technology services.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of cyber security, service management, and colleague experience technology services across E. ON UK.
- Ensure services are delivered against agreed performance measures, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a market-leading colleague and customer experience across E. ON UK's technology platforms and systems.
- Lead UK engagement on Group-led technology and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Develop and implement the UK service strategy, including service design, transition, and operations, in line with Group policies and best practice.
- Collaborate with technology, platform, engineering, cyber security, data, and AI teams to deliver secure and resilient services.
- Promote modern, sustainable technology architectures and continuous improvement across operational services.
- Provide leadership across a complex matrix of internal and external delivery partners, ensuring accountability and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements, key IT controls, and cyber security standards.
- What we need from you
- Extensive experience delivering cyber security, service management, and technology operations services within a complex, multi-sourced and matrixed organisation.
- Strong background in technical infrastructure, enterprise architecture, digital platforms, or service operations, with proven experience leading complex technology environments.
- Demonstrable experience driving continuous service improvement, delivering against business KPIs, service metrics, and customer experience objectives.
- Strong understanding of service management methodologies, including ITIL and Dev Ops practices, with experience embedding new and transformed services into operational environments.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, including through matrix structures and remote/offshore delivery models.
- Experience managing complex technology change and transformation, with the ability to balance strategic objectives with operational delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and strategic partners, ensuring delivery against commercial agreements, security standards, and service expectations
