We’re looking for a highly organised, strategic, and influential Portfolio Manager to drive operational excellence within our Go‑to‑Market (GTM) Product Marketing & Planning team. As the central hub in our hub‑and‑spoke model, this team partners closely with all GTM functions - and you’ll be at the heart of making that collaboration seamless.
Operational Governance and Reporting Foundation
- Standardised Reporting Framework: Build and maintain a consistent reporting structure for all product marketing activity, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment across PMM verticals (EV, Heat, Flex, etc.).
- Senior Leadership Data Consolidation: Partner with PMMs to consolidate performance data and craft clear, executive-ready insights and updates.
- Business Review Cadence: Design, implement, and own the GTM Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR). Create standard templates, processes, and mechanisms that drive consistency and enable deeper inspection across GTM and senior leadership.
- GTM Triage & Intake Management: Own and evolve the GTM Triage intake and prioritisation process. Simplify partner team engagement, manage prioritisation, and ensure timely action and visibility.
- GTM Capacity Management: Maintain a clear view of team capacity, resource utilisation, and intake requirements — ensuring realistic planning and resourcing through accurate reporting.
- GTM FTE Point of Truth: Act as the single source of truth for GTM Fixed‑Term Employee data, managing the FTE tracker for contract types, recruitment status, role allocation, dates, and cost allocation. Enable accurate forecasting and workforce planning.
Cross‑Portfolio Project Management (PMO)
- Major Initiative Leadership: Lead high‑complexity, cross‑portfolio initiatives end‑to‑end — including owning Zuno Day 2 requirements and coordinating delivery across GTM.
- Portfolio‑Wide Launches: Manage GTM execution and launch activity for any product, feature, or proposition that spans multiple verticals or sits outside a single PMM area.
Strategic Planning and Performance Insight
- Performance Monitoring Governance: Consolidate, govern, and standardise performance data. Work closely with PMMs and Proposition teams to ensure clear visibility and accurate interpretation, driving meaningful business impact.
- Commercial Narrative Enhancement: Use performance insights and a strong grasp of business rhythm to craft compelling commercial stories for leadership and internal audiences.
- Quarterly Planning Oversight: Lead the Quarterly Initiative process from a GTM perspective — driving clarity, aligning to OKRs, mapping ownership, and informing priorities based on capacity. Represent GTM in planning forums and partner with the central Roadmap Oversight team.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A strong ability to translate complex, multi‑source data into simple, engaging visual reports and leadership-ready narratives.
- Influencing skills that allow you to align and drive change across teams (Proposition, Commercial, Strategy, Digital) without direct authority.
- Confidence with modern planning/reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Google Workspace, advanced Excel or BI tools).
- A process‑driven mindset — naturally looking for ways to simplify, standardise, and automate.
- The ability to zoom out to strategic goals and translate them into tangible plans, projects, and deliverables.
- High accountability and ownership — especially in cross‑functional environments.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, structured approach when navigating ambiguity.
- 8+ years’ experience in PMO, Portfolio Management, or Operational Planning within a large, fast‑paced organisation — ideally within Product Marketing or GTM.
- Proven experience building governance frameworks, standardised reporting, and cross‑functional planning cycles (MBR/QBR, intake management, etc.).
- Demonstrable expertise in delivering complex, cross‑functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Location – Flexible (London preferred)
Excellent parental leave allowance.
Outstanding Benefits - Enjoy 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, life cover, bonus opportunities and access to 20 flexible benefits with tax/NI savings.
Flexible & Family-Friendly - Our industry-leading hybrid and family-friendly policies earned us double recognition at the Personnel Today Awards 2024. We’re open to discussing how flexibility can work for you.
