We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Energy Markets Team on a permanent basis, based in our offices at Westwood, Coventry. Are you ready to shape the regulatory future of energy? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet evolving regulatory standards, supporting the UK's transition to a smarter, greener energy system.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Analyse new energy products for additional regulatory obligations and reporting requirements.
- Implement and maintain policies in line with Group standards and UK regulations.
- Review and document regulatory and compliance errors, supporting leadership with clear reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc call monitoring to detect non-compliant activity and maintain access to recordings for regulatory queries.
- Support UK EMIR & REMIT reporting requirements and monitor developments in exemptions and obligations.
- Conduct horizon scanning for new UK regulatory updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Manage and update online training content, ensuring alignment with UK regulations and annual review cycles.
What we need from you:
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including REMIT, EMIR, and related frameworks.
- Experience in policy implementation, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills with the ability to distil complex topics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal, compliance, and operational teams.
- Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

- Experience in training management and deployment.
- Familiarity with off-market transaction analysis and compliance monitoring tools.
