Here’s what you will be doing

We are seeking a creative Proposition and Product Marketing Lead to craft impactful propositions and lead successful product launches, from concept to market execution and optimisation.

This exciting role is pivotal in shaping commercially viable, customer-centric propositions that drive business growth and solidify our market position.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Own the full go-to-market process for all value propositions and product launches, from initial concept to execution, ensuring they align with business goals, customer needs, and commercial viability.
  • Create compelling and strategic product names and key messaging that align with brand positioning and enhance market appeal.
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of new propositions and products.
  • Oversee the creation of all product marketing collateral, ensuring messaging and positioning effectively support each proposition and launch.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (including Sales, Product Development,and Research andInsight) and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of fully formed, market-ready propositions.
  • Leverage competitor insights and market trends to shape innovative and differentiated propositions that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Define and track key marketing and proposition performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance customer engagement and commercial success.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes, market trends, and customer behaviour, ensuring propositions and product launches remain relevant and competitive.
  • Maintain and update the Proposition and Insight hub and deliver proposition and insight review meetings with the Market Research and Insight Lead.

What we need from you

  • Degree educated in marketing or a similar field.
  • Demonstrable experience within a product marketing / propositions-based role.
  • A track record of successful commercial delivery and sustained value creation.
  • An ability to unpack complexity and engage diverse audiences in solving problems.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for B2B propositions.
  • Experience in leveraging customer and market insights to shape proposition development.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Experience within the UK Energy industry.
