  • Lead and submit successful, commercially viable, fully costed proposals and responses to achieve targets.
  • Conduct extensive client research and devise detailed capture plans highlighting win themes and bid team activity key to reach favourable outcome(s).
  • In collaboration with the wider business, and within each bid, identify and maximise pan E.ON opportunities.
  • Review initial tender documentation and recommend bid strategy for each opportunity to the Proposition Manager.
  • Proactively identify and access bid databases/lists in order to secure Green Funding contracts and expand the scope of E.ON’s market involvement.
  • Inform and consult with key internal functions to ensure all cross‑E.ON support and appreciation of implications of bid.
  • Identify and recommend key process improvements to implement, increase opportunities and minimise risk.
  • Input into weekly governance meetings taking actions to ensure the business can maximise value and minimise risk.
What we need from you

  • Understanding of contractual terms and conditions and able to advise on their impact to the team.
  • Enhanced conflict resolution skills covering internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate, monitor and encourage direct reports.
  • Ensure proposal documents follow standard formatting and quality standards and adhere to E.ON governance.
