Salary: £31,422 - £43,455 plus excellent employee benefits and career progression.

The award-winning E.ON UK Legal, Compliance and Data Protection Team (LCDP Team) supports colleagues in achieving E.ON's business objectives to lead the energy transition.
The LCDP Team is headed by General Counsel and Compliance Officer Kirin Kalsi, managing a team of 39 lawyers and compliance experts, including nine Senior Legal Counsels and a Senior Data Protection and Compliance Manager. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Executive or a confident, experienced paralegal to join the LCDP Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will primarily support the E.ON Next business with legal matters such as contract reviews and drafting, compliance advice, and regulatory issues. You will also provide advice on energy solutions and commodity contracts concerning residential clients, marketing, and advertising promotions, with supervision.
What we need from you:
- You are a Chartered Legal Executive or an experienced paralegal with 1-3 years’ experience in a commercial role.
- You possess a hardworking approach and can work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You have business acumen and a practical, commercial approach to problem-solving.
- You are enthusiastic, positive, and a great team player.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and can confidently build strong relationships with colleagues.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience in consumer or retail-related work, especially within a regulated business.
- Experience of working in-house.
- The ability to work in a quick-paced, business-facing role; resilient, adaptable, and organized.
- Proven ability to manage your workload independently.
