We're looking for 2 Network/Civil's Operatives to join our team based at our Cranbrook site in Exeter. This role will initially be on a 3-month fixed-term contract with potential to be extended up to 12 months.

Here’s what you'll be doing:

  • Support with underground civils works
  • Carry out excavation works, including working within deep excavations
  • Assist with trench support systems under direction
  • Assist with site set‑up including fencing, barriers, signage, and SLG
  • Carry out backfilling and reinstatement works
  • Work in public highways (non‑motorway) and private land
  • Communicate effectively with the Team Leader and others on site

What we need from you:

  • NRSWA full operative card
  • Proven civils and excavation experience
  • Experience working in underground environments
  • Experience supporting site set‑up and SLG
  • Able to work effectively as part of a small team
  • Full UK driving licence
