Are you an analytical professional with expertise in cost analysis and a passion for driving commercial success? E.ON is looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our nBS Commercial Team, playing a critical role in analysing I&C contract performance, managing commission reporting, and maintaining cost accuracy. The post holder is accountable for analysis of I&C contract performance, commission reporting and cost maintenance with a key focus on supporting delivery of our over-arching Commercial vision to protect, enhance and grow our I&C business. The role will require stakeholder engagement with a wide range of I&C segments.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- The Commercial Analyst within nBS Costing operates as a Costing Analyst, specialising in non-commodity supply costs.
- Provide non-commodity cost updates in an accurate and timely manner reflecting current and forecast market conditions.
- Build and maintain expert knowledge of non-commodity supply costs and the components of fully delivered gas and power pricing, ensuring cost updates are robust and well-understood.
- Clearly communicate complex cost information to a broad range of stakeholders in a concise and accessible manner.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for non-commodity costs, responding effectively to queries and supporting commercial decision-making.
- Provide insight and challenge on non-commodity cost assumptions to improve pricing accuracy and commercial outcomes.
- Accurate sales commission reporting through efficient process and system enhancements that mitigate risks, aligns to commission schemes and challenges results.
- Evaluate and resolve data issues impacting pricing, invoice and reporting, that impact I&C P&L while ensuring data validation throughout.
- Analysis and reporting of contract and cost performance, evaluating underlying costs and providing insight to inform commercial decisions.
- Ensuring accurate invoicing through system reconciliation for all I&C products.
- Adjust costs within day to mitigate market price risk in accordance with commercial risk strategy.
- Effective & accurate management of queries within SLAs for internal stakeholders.
- Develop a thorough understanding of system, business applications and processes.
- Engagement with stakeholders to reduce operational risk by ensuring that knowledge is shared.

- Knowledge of I&C Supply products.
- Analytical and modelling skills in MS Excel.
