The Special Projects division is a fast-paced, agile business unit set up by ECS to operate within two primary vertical markets: data centers and pharmaceuticals. Alongside the complex vertical markets, the Special Projects team is also responsible for the delivery of major EU projects that may be outside these two defined vertical markets. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out full BMS commissioning for special projects in either the UK, Europe or the Nordics. This will include production of schedules, description of operation, modification of the panel design, production/modification of drawings and, when required the creation of software and graphics. You will be expected to work well as part of a commissioning team but also work efficiently on your own as required. You may be responsible for supervising trainee engineers, ensuring they work effectively and safely whilst on site. You will be part of the project's commissioning team; therefore, the sharing of technical knowledge with other engineers is encouraged whilst obtaining support from the team when necessary. Following completion of the design, you will be responsible for delivering commissioning services through levels 1-5 of data centre QA/QC as per the ECS process from FAT tests to IST testing. This role will involve an amount of travel, but this can be tailored to suit the individual and align to the business's requirements. Any costs associated with travel, accommodation or issuing of permits etc will be covered. There will be an opportunity to work on a range of manufacturer DDC products with additional training provided as required. This is a high-profile role working in a team of highly technical and experienced colleagues
