The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out project engineering and project management support on major projects. The tasks will vary between projects but will include the production of design documentation, on-site co-ordination and planning, on-site commissioning and project handover. You will offer technical support and knowledge to engineers and project managers, including sharing of best practices. You will be expected to work well as part of a commissioning team but also work efficiently on your own as required. You may be responsible for supervising junior engineers, ensuring they work effectively and safely whilst on site. You will be part of the projects team therefore, the sharing of technical knowledge with other engineers is encouraged whilst obtaining support from the team when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall management of smaller-scale projects and ensuring the projects are delivered in line with the program of works and intended design.
- Responsible for making backups of software and strategy files as required for all associated systems/sites.
- Ensure compliance with company H&S and CDM requirements, including production of relevant documentation.
- To liaise with sub-contract engineers and clients and report back with any design or engineering changes or issues.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong client relations.
- Responsible for attending site-based commissioning/progress meetings as required.
- Responsible for carrying out field point to point checks, terminations, panel and wiring mods where required.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to work well as part of a team but also work efficiently on your own.

- Self-motivated, responsible and accountable.
- Good customer relations.
- Commercial awareness (training to be provided as required).
