Working as a Sales Specialist in our Customer Operations, you\’ll be at the heart of everything we do – helping our customers. You won\’t just be part of the customers\’ experience, you\’ll make it, and take full responsibility for what lands your way by delivering customer service from the start of their sales journey with us.
Responsibilities
- Talk to customers over the phone and via email, including engaging with industry stakeholders.
- Every day will be different, you\’ll be responsible for coming up with awesome solutions to resolve customer challenges.
- Lead on sales for E.ON Next, onboarding retentions, switches and cross-selling.
- Take learning seriously, think fast, take responsibility and use your initiative, letting us know if there\’s a better way to do things.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A flair in sales, including negotiation skills, commercial understanding and the ability to identify the right solution for our customers\’ needs.
- Ability to discuss our product suite with customers (training will be provided), understand the customer needs and promote the appropriate product for the customer, while balancing business and customer needs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to identify and create new opportunities for Sales.

- The starting salary for this role is £24,987 with an OTE of £33,103 and uncapped commission. We\’re passionate about providing fulfilling roles, and empowering growth and career progression.
- Our Flexible and Hybrid ways of working bring together the best of remote and hub-based working. We work Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and you\’ll spend 2-3 days a week with your team in our hubs, which are social spaces with fully equipped kitchens providing you with free snacks, drinks and fresh fruit. Then at the end of the week, we take some time out together to wind down as a family.

Important Information
- DBS check and right to work – for successful candidates, a basic DBS check will be required. This role is not sponsorable under the UKVI points-based system.
- Contract options – we offer full-time (37 hours) and part-time contracts (minimum of 30 hours per week).
- Base hub Location post training – choice of Nottingham City Centre or Syston (Leicester) hub.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- If you are invited to a Discovery Day, it will take place at our Nottingham hub. This role is hybrid. For the first 8 weeks of your training period, you will be expected to attend our Nottingham hub 3 days a week. The remaining two days of each training week will be remote. After training you will have conversations with your appointed team leader to discuss any hybrid working arrangements. During the training period you\’ll be fully equipped with the skills you\’ll need. It is therefore essential that annual leave is kept to an absolute minimum whilst in training.
