As a Senior Product Analyst at E.ON Next, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping, supporting and evolving a portfolio of digital products that enable brilliant experiences for both our customers and our Energy Specialists. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a great opportunity to make a visible impact within a fast-moving, purpose-led organisation. You'll sit within our Contact Product area, focusing on Workplace Applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana and the Atlassian suite, helping our colleagues collaborate, communicate and do their best work every day. This role is centred on product thinking, collaboration and shaping meaningful outcomes. While you'll use insight to inform decisions, this isn't a hands-on data engineering or pure analytics role.
Level: Associate - typically 2-5 years' experience, comfortable taking ownership, contributing confidently to product direction and growing your expertise within a collaborative product team.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering closely with Product Leads, Product Managers, business owners, delivery teams and suppliers to shape, prioritise and deliver valuable product outcomes.
- Developing a strong understanding of the Contact domain, with a specialist focus on Workplace Applications and how colleagues use them day-to-day.
- Owning and progressing elements of the product backlog, turning user needs and business challenges into clear, well-defined product features and improvements.
- Using insight and evidence (qualitative and quantitative) to inform decisions, measure impact and support prioritisation - without losing sight of the human experience.
- Supporting the smooth management of incidents, bugs and changing priorities, balancing pace with care and quality.
- Working with business teams to validate, test and embed new tools and ways of working.
- Exploring industry trends and best practice, bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful innovation into our product ecosystem.
- Leading on more complex or business-critical initiatives, while supporting and coaching colleagues around you.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a product-led technology environment, contributing to product discovery, delivery and continuous improvement.
- A strong product mindset, with experience translating user needs and business goals into clear product outcomes.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, ideally within collaboration or workplace tooling.
- Confidence using insight and evidence to support prioritisation and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, feedback and change, bringing curiosity, empathy and pragmatism to complex problems.
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience managing or supporting Workplace Applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana or Atlassian tools.
- Experience working within or alongside a Contact Centre or operational environment.
- Experience contributing to or leading cross-functional product initiatives.
- A passion for innovation and experimentation, including thoughtful use of emerging technologies such as AI.
- Experience helping to build communities of practice or product guilds to share knowledge and improve ways of working.
