We are looking for a dedicated and hard working person with a range of horticultural and agricultural skills who wants to work in a progressive and modern family glasshouse cut flower & arable business. There is a mix of work within the business.
Candidates must be physically fit, have a good attitude, a good level of English language and live in the UK, with a valid and clean driving licence. Candidates must have the ability to work in all areas of the business, be able to take instructions, work on their own or as part of a team.
Duties will include:
- Crop husbandry
- Operating planting and grading lines
- Moving pallets of crop in and out of the growing areas
- Setting up irrigation
- General maintenance duties
- Forklift driving with some tractor work
Candidates must be able to operate and drive a tractor & forklift and hold a current FLT licence. Training will be given on all roles as required. Saturday work and overtime will be required, Sunday working may be required at peak seasons. Increased pay rates will be awarded on performance.
