Using related software such as Destin8, CDS, NCTS, CNS, Descartes
Administration Tasks
Hours of work:
Monday Wednesday 0900-1700hrs
Thursday Friday 0900-1700hrs (until finish can be later)
Oncall requirement:
Weekday – Monday to Thursday / 1 night in 4 separate allowance paid.
Weekend Friday Evening and Saturday / 1 in 4 weekends (colleague gets the following Monday off for working this).
Person specification:
A confident and approachable person
A high level of organisation and attention to detail
Ideally 1-2 years\’ experience in customs entries (Will consider no experience if necessary)
Desirable – experience in Port Health/Licences/ATA Carnets
Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
IT literate
A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
