Role Overview
This role is designed for a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in the beauty or FMCG sectors—drawing inspiration from industry leaders to lead our integrated marketing efforts and manage key relationships with multiple retail partners. They will be responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy in the UK, guiding a high-performing team, and driving brand growth through innovative campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive UK marketing strategy aligned with retail partners and brand objectives. Leverage consumer insights and market trends to inform product positioning and innovative marketing initiatives.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated marketing team to ensure the effective execution of campaigns. Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales and product teams, to drive integrated marketing efforts.
- Retail Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with multiple retail partners, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and activation across all channels. Coordinate with external agencies and partners to support localized campaign execution and maximize impact.
- Campaign & Budget Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, traditional, and experiential channels. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, measure, and report on campaign performance using data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve key performance metrics. Adjust strategies in real time to capitalize on emerging opportunities and trends.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
- Professional Experience: 7-10 years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated leadership roles in the beauty or FMCG sectors. Proven success in managing integrated marketing campaigns and collaborating with retail channels.
- Core Competencies: Strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies. Demonstrated excellence in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Robust analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret data and drive decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, and modern marketing technologies. Experience in managing sizeable budgets and delivering measurable business results.
