This is a full-time, temporary position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide the highest quality of customer service with graciousness and pride, highlighting our unique company spirit. Greet guests, host wine tastings, and ensure a great experience for all guests.
  • Promote Our Products: Actively promote and sell our wine and non-wine products in the Tasting Room.
  • Share Your Knowledge: Describe our wines, winemaking techniques, and share our winery's rich history. Offer general tourist information.
  • Financial Transactions: Manage routine purchasing transactions, operate the cash register, and account for daily sales.
  • Support Special Events: Assist with special events as needed, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of our winery.
  • Team Collaboration: Be part of a dynamic team supporting visitor centre operations to achieve financial goals, enhance consumer experiences, build loyalty, and reflect our brand's essence.

Your Principal Activities Include:

  • Product knowledge and education
  • Cash register operations
  • Product presentations

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Knowledge of basic computer operation.
  • Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
  • Required to multi-task with focus on detail and switch gears quickly.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
  • Experienced in conflict resolution.
  • Skilled in basic arithmetic.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development.

How You’ll Stand Out:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year of relevant experience; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of wine and wine production.
