An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high-rise residential development in Central London. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for programme delivery, commercial performance, health & safety, and stakeholder management from construction phase through to completion.
This role is suited to a strong construction professional with proven experience delivering multi-storey residential schemes within the London market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day management of a high-rise residential construction project
- Oversee programme delivery to ensure milestones and completion dates are achieved
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Monitor project budgets, variations, risk, and commercial performance alongside the commercial team
- Chair progress meetings and provide regular project reporting to senior management
- Coordinate design, technical, and operational teams to resolve construction issues
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of the build
- Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship on site
- Support procurement and sequencing strategies to ensure efficient project delivery
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Proven track record delivering high-rise residential projects in London
- Main contractor experience essential
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and programme management
- Experience managing projects from structural frame through to handover
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
- Relevant construction qualification (Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management or related discipline preferred)
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications desirable
