An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Pre-Construction Engineer to join a rapidly expanding project delivery team in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for leading Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) input during the pre-construction phase of large-scale commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and coordinate MEP designs during tender and pre-construction stages.
- Support cost planning, value engineering and technical submissions.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and client stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist with procurement and construction planning activities.
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience within pre-construction, design management or project engineering.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
